Earring Haul

This is not a nail look but a haul. I was browsing you tube and found a vlog from one of the natural hair bloggers that I follow. She was talking about this haul she made of thread earrings and how they were really affordable. The site is www.peruvianearrings.com and I am posting pics of what I bought. They are awesome, great quality thread earrings that I have seen run anywhere from $7.00 a pair to $10. This site sells them for less than $2.50 each. Check out the pics.
There are many different kinds but the thread ones are cheaper than wire. I am going to get more because they are awesome so I must have many colors. Shipping was fast ordered them Thursday evening got here Monday morning.

Green with Envy

Hello chicas

I decided to do a green this week because I rarely see green looks. I broke another nail this week, but instead of sweating it I just decided to do a design for short nails on the shorter ones and accentuate the 4 longer ones. I hope everyone likes the look it was real impromptu.

Pink Confetti

This is sort of a spur of the moment look, I had no idea what I was going to create when I sat down but knew I wanted something pink and sparkly. I tried a couple of things on one nail and it kind of morphed into this confetti idea. This was my second attempt at using striping tape and I am not very good at it. I guess I need to figure out a better way to stick it on because most of them always seem to peel off before the day is over which is frustrating, so if anyone has suggestions, by all means share them. This is mostly just striper paints for the colors and they seemed to last longer for some reason.

Please excuse the messiness of it, those stripers are hard to remove right away if they get into the creases so I just snapped the picture and cleaned up later.

2010 Year for Giving

Hey ladies,

I will be posting an updated look later today, but for now I just wanted to take a few minutes to remind everyone to reach deep in your soul and purses to help the Haiti victims. My heart is so heavy with pain for them and I could not even begin to imagine the trauma and grief they must be experiencing. They are a strong race and I know they will overcome this but need help from everyone. It is just the right thing to do. I personally don't have much but a small donation and prayers are the least I can do.

Pinstriped French Manicure (pimped out french)

Good morning ladies
It has been a crazy week, I was battling a bit of the flu and did not post regularly (sorry). Here is the look I am currently removing as I have had them on all week. It was a quick style that I did after a failed look so it is not all that neat. The small beads are some that I received from Dollarnailart.com, and I really liked how they looked, however they did not stay on after one day. If someone could give some tips or suggestions on what they use to put their embellishments on and they stay I would really appreciate it. Thanks for the support guys.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Good Morning,

I just wanted to take a few moments to wish everyone a very Happy New Year. I hope 2010 is a great one for all of us. I will be adding some new things in the next couple of weeks. I just received a wonderful haul from www.dollarnailart.com where everything is a dollar. I was very impressed with them because the shipping was extremely fast, like 2 days and that in my book is always good. I will post a picture soon of the items I got, I am already planning my next order.

I am also thinking of changing the look of my blog for the new year, so if it looks a little different when you visit the next couple of times then just be patient because I like to try on a couple of looks before I decide what I like.

Hope everyone has a great day and remember what my mother always told me, what you do on the first day of the year, you will probably be doing all year, so no worrying, complaining, or stressing, just enjoy your life today.
