31 Day Challenge Day 12 - Stripes

Ha I pulled a Konad on yall!  I am the worst stamper ever, but I managed to pull this one off.  It's pretty simple, started with Revlon Matte Suede polish in Emerald City and then stamped with Zoya Trixie on half and Julep Felicity on half.  Came out decent but I ended up sealing with a top coat so the matte look did not last.  Not super exciting but I hope you like anyway.

See what the other challengers did for today:

Stamping Look

I am awful at stamping, I admit and move on, so when I tried this one I wasn't expecting much. However, I really liked it and plan to do many more. It takes lots of practice, but I am up for the challenge. I am learning that when you stamp, you kind of have to tweak it with polish to in order to make it look cute, or get a 3-d type effect. Enjoy

Konadatics 2

I decided to try Konad again, and just to let y'all in on a little secret: I am the worst kondader ever. I have tried, and tried, and tried, but I can never, ever get a Konad to come out good. I don't know what the secret is, everyone makes it look so easy. I try with all my might to get it to come out cute, but I just almost never take pictures of it because it never comes out good. If anyone knows some secrets, please let me in on it because I really suck at it.

I started today with the low cost nail polish i found at Dollar Tree. They have not name or number and this is pre-cleaning. Then did my Konad stamping with plate

Chinese Theater manicure

New mani, done yesterday, I just called this one Chinese theater because it has a bit of an Asian flair. Hope you all enjoy. Please ignore my very short nail on the right hand, it is the one I broke recently.

Diva Nails

Well I was trying to achieve some sort of diva greatness with this manicure but it did not last long at all. I kept having problems with the kiss me words and my black ends began to creep up quickly. It was a cute look for 2 days though. Took way too much time and patience though. Sorry for the messy edges had not cleaned up yet.

Also I broke a nail all the way down to the flesh right after finishing this and it was a horrific ordeal. My hand looks quite retarded now.

Konad-ics

Sigh, I have been experimenting with Konad and I like, it I really do, but I
can't get it to be consistent. Like get the design on the same spot on every nail. But nevertheless I rocked this look this week with many compliments. I would like some advice though on painting the nails all the way to the bottom so the little white tip does not show. Any suggestions are appreciated. Oh and the polish is Revlon Dark Pleasures "Talk Dirty" with Konad white.
