Re-Fresh Mints

Hello All
Today's nail look is just like the polish name refreshing.  It looks so clean and cute on the nails but still is the pop on the wild side.  I used China Glaze's Re-Fresh Mint and Orly's Be Brave along with a small Art Deco Striper in Magenta.  I got a lot of compliments on this look and think it is very cute for a fun twist.  I cut my nails all down and think I'm going to keep them short for a while, for practical purposes mostly, but also I think they look cute.  Please excuse my cuticles, they are not up to par right now.

Snow Flakes in the forecast

My winter wonderland manicure began with a base coat of Wet N Wild Ice Blue, which is a really old polish but does the trick.  I then used Revlon's Belle layered with a new Icing polish I got.  This is the first Icing that I have tried and am really impressed with their glitters, it is called Frost Yourself.  It is a holographic glitter polish of silver and white, very pretty.  The black and blue are simply striping polishes.  Hope you all enjoy.

Holiday Nails (mobile edition)

Dropping in tonight for two reasons: 1. To show my little Christmas tree accent nail manicure and 2. To try out the blogger mobile app which I'm posting from right now. I know I'm super late but better late than never right?  The main colors I used are OPIs Die Another Day, which is just about the sexiest red in my collection, and OPIs I Vant To Be A Lone Star which is beautiful as well.
The tree was made with random, nail art striper colors. As for the app, it is great for days like today when I took pictures and left my camera (with the pictures still in it) at work, but it is easier to just log on normally and post.  I guess if you post on the go a lot, it is great.  Til next time:  LOVE YOU ALL!

Reviving Short Nails

Hello everyone,

I have been a little MIA since my last entry in the 31 Day Challenge, but I have a very good excuse.  I had major nail accidents when putting up Christmas Decor at work.  I know, "BE CAREFUL" but after putting up 6 trees throughout the building, loads of garland and fluffing many wreaths, my nails really suffered.  I broke two one day then another the very next day, so I decided to cut them down and enjoy the short nails while they grow out.  My intention in this time is to try and focus on nail art and creative looks for short nails.

Today I have for you the beautiful Zoya Ziv.  This polish needs nothing else to stand out, OMG it is beautiful, applies like a dream in two coats and last like you would not believe.  I got really no tip wear at all after 5 days.  I present to you the beautiful ZIV:
Ziv is part of Zoya's holiday collection available at Zoya.com

Over The Rainbow

Nail art look for the week of July 16-20. I did a simple rainbow look inspired by something I saw in a Japanese nail art magazine a long time ago. I got lots of compliments on it and I'm very sorry I did not take pictures of the polish I used. I can tell you the background is the OPI Alpine Snow. The rest are striper polishes, the cheap ones I got from Ebay. Hope you all enjoy.

Going to try and post all my nail art looks for now even if I think they are a fail, maybe someone will like them even when I don't.

Quickies

Hey Ladies,
I first want to apologize for not posting as often, things get hectic and I have really, really been neglecting my nails lately. For this reason, I have trimmed them all down and will be restarting my care for them. I did a quick fix manicure last week. I keep a drawer full of manicure stickers and stripes, etc just for times when I want a quick little look but don't really feel like going through a lot of effort.

This new nail length will give me a change to do some short nail looks for those with short nails. I am going to start back doing my weekly manicures.
